The HARA offers several different grant opportunities to assist individuals in need of assistance. The HARA assists individuals and families at risk of experiencing homelessness and those currently experiencing homelessness.

- Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) - This program will assist qualifying individuals with a financial need currently experiencing homelessness or facing an eviction.
- Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) - Calhoun County Housing Services serves as a liaison for Michigan State Housing Development Authority and Housing Choices, LLC to offer the voucher program to Calhoun County residents experiencing homelessness to possibly qualify for long term Section 8 assistance.
